Pet Pro Hero cat and dog first aid and CPR training

Pet First Aid & Pet CPR

Be there for our best friends

Our pets are always there for us. We owe it to these furry family members to always be there for them!

Come to a hands-on class in a small group of 5-12 students to learn how you can best help your cats and dogs when emergencies strike.

The Pro Pet Hero curriculum is developed by ProTrainings and has been evaluated and endorsed by veterinarians. It is professionally recognized by major pet professional organizations.

The combined  Pet CPR and Pet First Aid class is appropriate for families and all First Responders. The course is great for groomers, dog walkers, pet sitters, and other pet professionals.  CE credits are available for pet professionals. The course is recognized by Pet Sitters International and other organizations.

The instructor is an EMT and an NJ Humane Officer.

Course duration: 5 hours.

FAQ:

Q: ‘Why should I take this class instead of a quick online class?'

A:  A thorough Hands-on Training course far exceeds watching a short series of slides or videos online without any practice.  Not all courses are veterinarian-approved like ours is or recognized by prestigious professional animal-care programs like ours is.   Our course is thorough, interactive, and on-par with top-notch human CPR & First Aid courses in all ways.  Build confidence and muscle-memory by practicing the skills in-person rather than watching them on a screen.  Why trust our furry best friends’ well-being to a highlight reel?

Q: 'Can I bring my pet?'

A: For the safety of the other class participants, no private pets will be in the training environment. You will practice hands-on with manikins that can be safely used for pet CPR and pet first aid practice.
